BANNOCK BREAD
Bannock bread is simple. Basically it is just a pan fried bread dough. There is lots of leeway in this recipe. Use your imagination with it. It can not be hurt! LOL (unless you try and add liver!)
4 cups of flour (+or - for how many you must feed)
tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
enough water to mix into a paste like dough

Roll the dough into circles about a foot across.  Put in your filling, and fold the top over and crimp the edges well.

You may choose from many fillings.  Some ideas are given here:

Scrambled eggs and fried bacon and other breakfast additives.
Chicken and rice (premade)
Chili with grated cheese
Cherry or other fruit pie filling
Spiders and beetles. (for dumb boys meals)

Once you have them folded and crimped drop them in hot grease (about 350 F) until they are golden brown.  They are hot, so you must use a fork and knife to eat them!
